rm,
Saul, ah, the sweet memories of working with this MORON!
I know exactly who you are talking about.
And you are correct, completely and totally useless.
The last time I dealt with this ‘Saul’, we were getting re-instatement numbers for a house with an Ocwen Loan (actually someone else, Ocwen was servicing it, according to ‘Saul’).
Anyway, THREE letters were faxed to me that day with THREE DIFFERENT (Radically different too) reinstatement amounts.
I of course liked the one that said, “ZERO”, but it was one of the wrong ones.
Anyway, just read your post, and thought it funny that we both have the same impression from this guy.
Yes, I’ve done a successful short with OCWEN. One of my most frustrating short sales. The rep was one of the worst excuses for a professional I’ve ever dealt with.
I found the trick to get action was to call the OCWEN main switchboard, and ask the operator for the phone number of the supervisor of the Loss Mit dept.
Once I got the supervisor on the phone, it was smooth sailing. Sorry, but I don’t have the number anymore. Just look at the OCWEN website and call the main number.

To date I have left 7 messages with the assigned “loss recovery” rep. She has yet to return one phone call. I have a auth. to release on file and still no answer. I’ll be interested to see what others think.
First guy I worked with (against? without?) was named Saul.
Completely and totally useless.
Even when I was able to talk with him (twice) we got absolutely nowhere… it was like talking to a wall… and he absolutely didn’t care if anything ever got accomplished.
