Go talk to the local planning office. They will be the ones that would “OK” something like that. It will all depend on the local zoning, minimum lot sizes, set-back requirements, etc.

Hannah -
Does anyone have some good information on short platting? - I think it is called. I am a horrible internet surfer ![]()
I have my eye on a property that holds a 5 unit building along with a small house. In a fabulous world, I like to purchase the entire thing (it’s listed that way) then short plat it, or divide all into two parcels and sell off the house. The lot size is about 7500 square feet is that matters. Thakns for any ideas!
