Setting your real estate investing goals is essential to your success in real estate. I hope I don’t need to convince you of that. Setting goals works. Period.
But are you setting your real estate goals correctly? Is it possible that you are missing a few details that could help you goal set even better?
Some people just fall in. I never planned on being in the RE investments business. I was an accountant. In 2003, I just seen what seemed like a good investment in an old rent house, and 58 rental units later, I guess I am in the RE investment business. I just kept buying what looked like good deals and decided I like rentals. I never really planned to be here, it just happened that I decided that SFR’s and small multis became better investments for me than the stock market. Now I have very little in stock funds, all in RE.
Plan as much as you want, but just get after it.
I do find that the deals I used to get are not as easy to find.
