No one can really answer this without seeing your contract. Generally speaking, yes, the seller is locked in once a contract is ratified unless there’s some sort of contingency or escape clause he added for himself. Your closing attorney should be able to handle this for you.
My fiancee has put in a purchase offer that was signed by bith seller and seller’s ex wife. Now seller is not sure he wants to sell after we have paid for appraisal. Is the seller locked into sale?
