Most lenders will want 6 month seasoning… some one year. If it’s a rental property, they may also want YOU to be seasoned 1 year as a landlord (ask me how I know). I’m sure you can find an exception, but you may pay in points and interest.

Do banks usually require “seasoning” before giving a line of credit on a property? I acquired a property last month (have the title), need to do some work in it but want to get a line of credit. The property is rented.
