You might initial each page. If a page is later substituted, your initials would either be missing or forged.

What are some safeguards you have against someone that may tamper with original land trust documents (the pages that aren’t notarized)?

i.e. How can you prove to the courts that “that’s not what the trust said when I signed it”.

I don’t know how that problem could arise, but:

  1. Maintain control by keeping the originals yourself.
  2. Record it in the public records of your county.
