Klaus, the link to Steve’s short sale courses and products is below:

If you decide to buy anything, put my e-mail address, rkim777@yahoo.com, into the “Ambassador” field where it asks who referred you and I think you get a $500 discount.

Hope this helps.

Has anybody been through the Financial Health Coach training for pre forclosures with Ryan Tewis? I was thinking of going but just wanted some feedback - I did a search but nothing came up.

Yes, I went to the training in Fort Myers, FL a few years ago. Attended every minute of training, then purchased the $10,000 program, put it on credit cards, and began my business as soon as I got home. because the paperwork was changing all the time, and the banks were changing things all the time, in 3 years, I had only one deal that went through. If I had it all to do over, I would not. I am now in debt with 4 credit card companies, being hounded all the time, and have a judgment on my property. I don’t receive any communication from Ryan any longer…don’t know why and have tried to contact them to no avail.

Ryan and Angie seem quite genuine. Claude dispense false information, and if you use it in Maryland. You will land yourself in court and possibly jail.

I’ve gone through their coaching. They’re excellent but you’re only a student for one year and it cost a lot of money. At least two years ago the cost was $20,000, now it must be much more. The only issue I have is that for that much money you should be a student for life.

Iâ??ve been listening to the CDs and so far they have been informative. I noticed that disc 1 was recorded in 2005. The problem I have is that they talk about using double closings as the way to sell the house. As you may know, double closings have become illegal in some states. Also in some parts of the country, when you get paid, since you never owned the property, that money is being considered a commission and if youâ??re not a realtor, then youâ??ve broken the law. But overall, the information is usable.

I bought their homestudy course, which was quite pricey, but it was WELL worth it. The knowledge I’ve gained from that has earned me well over $100K in the 1.5 years since I bought it. I told them, they should have me on a commercial for them! It is very good, but as with anything, it’s only as good as the work you put into it.

I’ve heard him talk on teleseminars and have seen a DVD he and his partners put out. Ryan is wrong about land trusts on his DVD’s when he says that putting properties into trust will protect the seller and buyer. Land trusts are not statutory entities so provide no real protection but they do serve to keep the names of property owner off of public record. This trust can be easily pierced in court but for most people it does provide some measure of anonymity as not many will try to take someone to court to find out the identity of the property owner.

The rest of their stuff seemed okay but there are better things out there for less. Steve Dillon has a great short sale course and seminar. Steve was a senior loss mitigator for The Associates (now CitiFinancial) and EMC before coming over the “the dark side” as a full-time investor.
