What books are out there that anyone can recommend that has the similar information that Dalbey offers in his material? Is his system the best way or are there other routes?

Russ Dalbey’s “Cash Flow Business” - Posted by Amanda

I recently purchased Russ Dalbey’s “Cash Flow Business” materials. The materials explains about real estate note business basic and other useful information. However, it is basical things and I wasn’t sure where to start. Then, I was contacted one of his staffs. Basically they offer me coaching program that can help my to start note business. I believe that whatever business coach (mentor) is necessary. Yet, honestly, I’m not really sure that how much do I have to spend the coaching of his system. I have already make an appointment to talk to his another staff talk about details. I am ready to do my homework and work hard to start my note business (REI) and also know that having mentor doesn’t mean I can make money. When I spend money to learn something, I always think about the money as a “Tuition”. Does anyone here went through his coaching system, please give me some information.
Thank you!
Amanda

Even though Russ Dalby is an ok system, I would not waste the 7,000 to 8,000.00 they may charge you for their mentoring program. I only paid 2,500.00 but that was because I would not buy their mentor program unless they lowered their price. The mentors are helpful and nice but in my opinion you can probably find anything you need about the note business on the internet.

I’m new to investing. I met a few people at the investment club I belong to and I am planning to ask one of them to assist me with a property while offering to split the profits. I did this with my real estate license and I found it very helpful.

Thank you for your reply.
I spoked to one of Russ’s advisor. Basically, after he asked me about my credit cars (what kind of cards I have) and each limit, he offered me mentor and several materials. Well, I first thought it would be helpful if someone teach me and walk through about the business. Yet, at the same time, I thought about website such as CRE Online or other site that give me the answer whenever I have questions. I told him that I would like to think about it. But I was told that about 15,000 people are waiting for to start the program. So I have decided to give the program someonelse.
Well, that’s just happened to me. I’m pretty new about note business and decided to read book and study by myself.
Thank you,
Amanda

This is a red flag to me…
“he asked me about my credit cars (what kind of cards I have) and each limit”
The “gurus” that have people max out their cards just
to take their program are, how do I put this, often
shysters. Another “Russ” - Russ Whitney uses a
similar tactic. He’s a shyster. If you read the countless posts here, you’ll see that almost noone
recommends the ‘mentoring/coaching’ program from
any of the gurus. Not worth the very high price tag
in most cases. Several gurus do have great material
for a fair price, but in general most people don’t
recommend the big $$ coaching.

Yes, you are right. When I was asked my credit cars, I didn’t realize that they want to konw if I can afford to pay the tuition (their mentor program). The person I spoked to was asked if I have personal Dr. and how I take care of my personal finance.
I don’t mind to pay tuition (nothing is free, right?) to learn something. Yet, spending big $$ w/o knowing what I will learn was not what I wanted. I believe there is many great materials for a really fair prices. So I have decided to serch something that I will comfortable with.
Thank you

If you’re going to do any coaching program, I’d stick with Sheets… Carlton is the MAN!
