my mother had just passed away and i am trying to get her security deposit back. she paid 700.00 for the deposit and i was wondering how much intrest she is to get back on that money. if you could please tell me that interest rate of this year that would be great. thank you so much for your time.p.s. i MISS my mom!!!

Go to “8-203” regarding security deposits. I believe it should be in a interest bearing account among other things. But read the whole thing.

i have live in my apt for 14 months and we paid over $3095 to move in the rent for the 3 bedroom was $1400. a month we stay there for 2 months and moved to a 2 bd/2 bath on 12/08/05. the rent is $1300. the orig move in date from the beginning was oct 1st,2004
please let me know as of 04/01/06 how much interest on our security deposit shoul we receive back and isd it my job to remind our landlord of the deadline for giving the accrued interest to us rather it is a credit or however it is given back. i will be moving on 04/01/06. and i need to know this as my landlord has been known to do funny things.
