RSC Crossroads - Posted by Matthew Chan

Huff, huff, puff, puff! I am tired. Just thought I would check in and drop a quick note. My adrenal glands have been working overtime. Queasy stomach, unexpected emotions, dizziness, and hyperventilation have been some of the sensations so far experienced by me.

Once again, I was looking forward to it and felt prepared but once again I have been humbled. Argh. Not all fun but I have no regrets.

The stakes and accountability are much higher than Journey was. If Journey was high school, Crossroads is definitely college level.

Roughly half (around 28) of the Journey group came back for Crossroads. We have already lost 3 people because they chose to leave and didn’t feel they could handle it.

Among the toughest training I’ve ever had in my life… Carol & Dennis, get ready for a rougher ride!

We had a nice reunion tonight between Scott & Julie Bell, myself, and Suzie Kostic all bonded by the John Behle connection here in Colorado. It was really neat talking about John, Carol, and Dennis behind their backs! It was all good!

We are really looking forward to it … but thanks for the “warning”!

Suzy “sounds” like she’s doing well.

Can’t wait til we can compare notes with you.

Nothing to be worried about - Posted by John Behle

The first day or two can - AND SHOULD - bring up a lot of stuff. It’s nothing to worry about. That’s where some of the greatest value is. This isn’t a “Stuart Smalley” type training - Looking into the mirror - “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough and by golly - people like me!”

There’s mirrors. In a Don Quixote, “Man of LaMancha” type way. The life changing type moment when you look and realize there is a shaving basin on your head that you thought was a helmut. As we clear out some of the pain, barriers and get a clearer view of reality, there is space for greater joy, fun and excitement.

It’s just “Journey” on steroids.

On the Horizon… - Posted by CarolFL

Suzy called and spoke for about 30 seconds tonight … about 5:15 pm Col Springs time … announced that she and Darren (her 10 month old) would be moving to Col Springs for two months until she finished Horizons … or else she would have to commute.

Can’t wait to pick her up from the airport tomorrow night. Obviously SOMETHING happened! This is the kid who was going to “put off” doing Crossroads, right?

Hummmmmm…

“Journey” on steroids sounds right to me. Today was seriously grueling, I thought I was going to pop a blood vessel! But I made it through another day in 1 piece! A little sore in many ways but still relatively intact!
