Has anyone ever attended this boot camp? If so do you think that it is worth a person just getting into real estate investing to attend, even if you have aboslutely no knowledge of real estate investing?

Traci,
I’ve never been to one of Ron’s Boot Camps, but from what I know, they are quite intensive and guerilla-oriented. Hence, if you’re just considering getting into real estate, I wouldn’t spend any money on these camps.
You need to thoroughly research real estate investing, decide which area of investing is appropriate for you, then, and ONLY THEN, should you make plans to attend such intensive events.
There are a lot of free articles and information available here on this site. Read all of the “How To” articles, “Success Stories”, Newsgroup postings (NG I and II), “Cash Flow Forum”, etc. That’s where you need to start, not with an intensive boot camp. You’d be overwhelmed.

Traci-
How serious are you about real estate investing? This is like everything else, if you are serious and commited, you can make a lot of money. If you are neither, then anything you do will be a waste. I bought Legrands 3 courses-For sale by owner- Lease options & Wholesale/retail for $997.00. I have learned a lot from the audio tapes and manuals. I did have a little experience before buying them, however. My first deal,a flipper, was very successful. I paid $64,000.00, spent $5000.00 in paint, carpet, etc. Sold the house for $93,000.00. I have just put 4 houses under contract and if everything goes right, I should net between $60,000.00 & $70,000.00 on the four. I did not know the techniques needed to do that until I listened to, and, read the courses.I am about to go full time in the R E investment business. I think you can see why. As Legrand says “Can you afford to go back to that job tommorrow?”
I have not been to a Boot Camp. I don’t know that I need to go. But, I didn’t go to college, either. What do you think you need to do? You have to be satisfied.
By the way, I am not on Legrands payroll. He wouldn’t know who I was if I called him. He has great stuff. Expensive, but great.
