Reputable Credit Repair Firms in MD? - Posted by Max

A credit reporting agency has 30 days to complete an investigation of a disputed account. There are no loopholes to get them to do it quicker. I’ve read some of Lexington’s dispute letters and I was less than impressed. Read the boards Michaela suggested and you can learn how to get the furnishers of information to the CRAs to pay YOU. It just depends on how strong your resolve is. Another forum to try is creditboards.com

Can you do it yourself? Certainly. I raised my scores from 595 to 740 in about 6-8 months. If I had been the litigious sort, I could have filed lawsuits for several thousand dollars, all I wanted was a clean credit report though.

I operate in Maryland, and I have a three-fold question. Is there such a thing as a reputable repair firm, does credit repair work, and are there any near me that can help one of my buyers?

Your response is appreciated.

Save yourself some money and use your computer to do this yourself. Look up E Z Legal software they have a program called credit repair. Its simple to do and they tell you all you need to know on the disk.

Don’t know, if there’re reputable credit repair firms. Tell your buyers to check out www.creditinfocenter.com and the discussion group at www.creditnet.com . They can repair their own credit - and yes, it works, but it does take effort.

You may try Lexington law firm. They are at Lexington.com. I have heard very good comments about them, most of them from this message board by the way.

I worked on my credit repair myself and as was told to me prior to starting your score may go down instead of up. It went down!

Lexington has the know how and loopholes to help do things quicker and without the score declining.
