right now and get a job to pay your bills. Everything that goes wrong isn’t always somebody elses fault.
Try pointing the dryer vent inside if you don’t like it going outside and sit on a chair next to it to get warm.
And as far as the electrical outlets go just remove the cover and stuff something in there like that empty bag of doritos or all those twinkie wrappers you accumulate.
I have a question if someone would please answer: The landlord was remodeling as we were moving in. We’ve lived here a month and he has not finished the repairs needed…i.e. electrical, heating, countertops…etc. There are numerous holes in the house where we are losing heat out of, such as broken window, dryer vent (open to outside), and electrical outlets. Anyways…I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make him do the repairs promptly. Can I withhold rent? Or even pay someone to make the repairs and give him a bill for it? Also our heat bill is going to be outrageous because of the holes leaking heat out, so can I make him pay half? We have contacted him numerous times about this and he gives us the run around and maintains that he will fix it but is always too busy. Thanks. Sorry this is so long…lol
