No they won’t do that, unless you get REALLY with a small local bank. Got to go to the courthouse and find the Notice of Election and Demands that have been filed, or whatever they are called in your area.

Who do you contact to get a List of REO’S in your area?
I know it is not lawful for the bank to disclose personal information to 3rd parties but would they be willing to inform borrowers that are headed for foreclosure about alternatives, i.e. my investment company?

Lou,

I subscribe to a publication that tells me all of the Lis Pendis filings for the week. You can find the same information by going down to the courthouse yourself however, it is very time consuming. Here in FL the court house only has a case number with a filing date and you have to go dig through the file to get the meat of the info.

Also, there has to be public notification in some sort of news paper. Usually it is the cheapest one. That might be were you want to start. Usually there is a lot of info in the pubilc notice located in your newspaper.

Good luck to you,
Ray
