Arthur, there are at least 4 associations in the Chicagoland area. We like the Chicago Creative RE Assoc which meets in Hillside once a month. E-mail me if you want more info.

Take a look at the left side of this web page, there is a place where clubs are listed.
I know there are clubs locally that you can goto, since I used to live there.
As Becky said, the Chicago Creative Investors association is a good place to go.
They meet in Hillside at the Holiday in, I think every third sunday of the month.
