Yes, but I would advise you DON’T do the rehab property in your own name, it’s a liability risk. Form an LLC for the property to limit your liability without affecting the tax ramifications.

Let’s say I working on a three family and single family that I bought under my own name.(in upstate NY) I have a general contracting corporation set up. Can I do all the renovations under my corporation and bill for the material and labor?
