This is my first post on this forum. I have been following this forum for the last few months and read quite a number of your posts.
As many others, I also believe you are a tremendous resource for newbies and experienced investors alike in this incredible forum under the very valuable auspices of Lonnie Scruggs and Ernest Tew. You give back so willingly and freely to the investor community that I am frequently amazed by the time and care you take in explaining the “ins-and-outs” of the business many times to complete strangers. I think these qualities alone make you an exceptional individual.
Therefore, I didn’t want to let go another day without sharing with you a concern I have. I just find it really troubling when you are making such positive contributions in the lives of many and yet still not take good care of your own health to enjoy life longer with the tangible and intangible fruits of your investments and of the significant impact you have made and continue to make, knowingly or unknowingly, on many lives.
Yes, as a complete stranger, I would like to urge you to take better care of your health and eat healthier food. I took this liberty knowing that, as a man who urges others to make better financial decisions only with their best interest in mind, you would understand where I am coming from when I am sincerely urging you to make better health decisions for yourself.
I really hope I didn’t offend you in any way, because that would be the last thing I would want to do. I wish you the best and many more prosperous and joyous years and look forward to reading many more insightful posts from you and being among the first group of people to read your book when it comes out.
Best regards,
Byron

i wish i had a new idea so i could READ about all the great ideas that you have rat holed away. im glad to see this web site has turned around and is back to investing instead of the junk that i have read for the past few weeks. hey i do have an idea this is one i am working on now Trading park of my equity for something that i plan on buying anyways. example, i own a 3br2ba DW on 2 acres, neibors want it but dont like the price so i said how about i lower the price 5k and you give me the vacent lot that you have. in reality i would never have gotten the price i wanted but as a trade they had no problem with it. so i let them name a price and i went up 10k from there, let them sweat and offered to take there tax cow for 5k, after the sale, this gives them 5k that they wouldnot have seen and me annother lot to play with as soon as i find a home to put on it. i know this is more real estate orentated but the consept doesn’t have to be. people place less value on the things they already have therefore you can get them cheeper, expecially broke people.later
