Real Estate Tax Advisor - Posted by John

I would like to know of a knowledgable real estate tax advisor. Ideally this individual would be familiar with federal and state tax laws, able to recommend incorporation vs LLC etc tailored to the individuals situation, provide guidance in setting up corporate minutes, state registration, and indicate a mechanism to set up accounting for tax purposes.
I have interacted with one firm but the pricing seems steep. If you all have recommendations of an individual or firm which provides these services I would be grateful for information directing me to a contact
Thank you.

John,
I answered this on the commercial board, but am repeating it here for those who may not know what a wonderful resource RE Investors have available in John Hyre. I know he won’t step up and say he fits the bill, so I’ll put in the shameless plug for him!
To repeat my words from the other board…
You are describing John Hyre to a tee. What you’re after is a rare mix of talent and apptitude, and I know firsthand how hard it is to find in one person or even one firm.
John Hyre is the host of [this] forum here on CRE Online, and has also just published a guide to RE bookeeping that is available in the CRE Online bookstore. He is taking on select clients nationwide, and I am grateful that I have him as both an attorney and as a friend. In my opinion he is one of the finest RE/tax attorneys I’ve ever met, and I have worked with a gaggle of them.
