If you’ll check with some of your biggest office bldgs you’ll find they are in fact rented out by their (few usually) employees.
As employees they need no license as they aren’t making a REA’s commission, but just salaried staff.
I’ve been interested in noticing over time that some of Seattle’s biggest, tallest, most expensive bldgs are rented either by the owner himself or one of his 3 or 4 staffers.
Is it legal for the executive vice president of a homebuilding company to quote a prospective homeowner a price on a spec home that the company is trying to sell? (Once the person is interested, they are then directed to the licenses real estate sales person.)
