Real estate auction sites don’t work. Even ebay.com has tried this approach and has failed at it. Try a site like nodiscount.com if you’re looking for a way to drive up sale price.

I purchased a home off the site 1 1/2 years ago. Everything went smoothly but I’ve had a few issues on the last two I bid on. They have a habit of having a high reserve price which you’re unlikely to meet. That being the case, I’ve been the high bidder on two properties but never got them because I was under their reserve price.
