Should a RE Agent disclose the fact that they are a licensed agent if they are buying under LLC?

If you have the right broker and can freely talk to him/her then do so on simple questions like this.

If that’s not the kind of REB you have, go shopping immediately and hook up with one who needs your sales services and whose opinions, based on advanced know-how and experience, YOU can use.

I’d guess that 50 states have some form of the rule that any lic. person, be it REB or REA, must disclose his/her lic. status on any personal deal being done and it’d be actionable FRAUD not to do so.

So my advice would be that it’d be far better to disclose than to fail to do so…unless you think it’d be fun to be down at the RE Comm.'s office explaining why you had decided otherwise before being ordered to pay a big fine.

I long ago came to the conclusion that it was better to over-tell/disclose than to scrimp on it.

that a licensed agent disclose their licensed status whenever they are involved in any RE dealings, even if it makes no difference.
