Although I’ve seen very few COA’s (causes of action, or possible lawsuits available) that could really, effectively be assigned to a new buyer, I think you might just have one here.

Meaning that you might look around for a hungry REI and sell your rights to him/her; he/she’d then file the suit to Quiet the Title or for damages against the tort-feasor/culprits and whatever they got back would belong to that person.

And you might make a deal with such money person REI that you’d do the footwork and detective work and that person would put up the cash, and you’d retain a partial interest in the action.

Keep in mind that a statute of limitations won’t let you delay this filing forever, so have your lawyer tell you what it is so you can calendar your cut-off date.

Something I think I’d urge you to do right now is to file a formal complaint with your State Notary Licensing Board as that’s going to get things going in a pretty big way…and I’d bet the NP isn’t going to be willing to perjure him/herself on any witness stand so the truth will likely come out pretty quick…

This would be free for you, the complaining/aggrieved party, and would be fun to watch unfold.
Good luck here and let us know what transpires.

Hello, I would like to tell you a bit about my case, In 1995 me and my now ex girlfriend went though a mortgage company to get a house my grandfather helped with the down payment, She missed several payments with out my knowledge, then on Sept. 21, 2006 I was accused of rape which was untrue and was found to be untrue and dropped, I was in jail for 9 days when I got out I went home, my live in girl friend had done moved another guy into my house, I went in and got a few things (clothes) and my son 7 years old! and left thinking not to start trouble, then I seen that this was pretty permentant so i moved on with my life met and married a lady then dec. 10, 2005 my ex brought to my house a quick claim deed and asked me to sign it, It was ALREADY notarized and that seemed a bit weird to me so i refused and gave it back a few days later, and it wasn’t brought back up, then in April I went to get a copy of the original deed so that i could take it to a lawyer and see what my rights were, and i found out through the mortgage place that a quickclaim deed had been filed pretty recently, So i asked for a copy, you can clearly tell that it is not my signature it looks as if they laid it on something and traced it, so that is forgery, i was told to take it to the prosecuting attor. because that is a felony, but in the small town of Malvern everyone knows everyone and no one seems to want to step on anyone’s toes, the prosecuting attor. Told me that i need to see a lawyer because it is a civil case, because it was notarized it would be hard to prove, I then took it to a lawyer that did not do as i asked she was all gunhoe on it till she found out who the notary was then her whole attitude changed, and then she just wanted to scare her into voiding the quick claim deed, I think that this is wrong because she committed a crime and she just wads it and forgets about it and everything is OK, while in the mean time I loose my home and the neighbors are telling me that the house is being trashed that she has allowed a dog to rip up the flooring and some of the walls are messed up and she is 1 to 3 weeks late on the payments and i am the primary buyer and she is the co buyer and everytime she is late it shows on my credit so then she went to her lawyer and sent a letter that is soo full of lies She brought up the rape case which was found untrue and should have never been brought into the house ordeal anyway but it says I was in jail for 3 months and hid out for several weeks all that is a lie, and it say sthat i went to her and told her I didnt want nothing in the house or the house that is a lie, and the notary which is a good friend of my ex and my ex is saying that i went into the house and signed it in front of her and i did NOT!! so that is a lie and numerous other lies So I am thinking that the only way I am going to be able to prove this is with a handwriting analysis or something, so then I took it to another lawyer the one that handled my rape case and he is all for handling my case but he wants 1000.00 just to start! And I cant come up with that I need someone who will let me put a a sum down and pay as we go or something, I mean this isn’t right I feel she has committed fraud, theft, forgery, and perjury, and no one seems to want to help, do you think that you may be able to help? Thanks
right now she is behind over 1300 dollars!!
