Let’s look at this from another angle. Does read estate work? Is is possible to make money investing in real estate?
Do you know anyone in your town who has done it? Even an older friend or relative who has owned the same house for 20 years and seen it go from $50,000 to $200,000? Is it possible to make money investing in real estate? Does Donald Trump make money? Read his books, they should have them in your local library or used book store. Donald Trump uses the same techniques advocated by Sheets and many other gurus. They are pretty well standard in the industry.
Once you are convinced there is money to be made in real estate investing the next question is, do you want to do it? Can you see yourself working at it as a job or business? If it doesn’t appeal to you then don’t get into it.
If you are going to get into RE investing, then the Carleton Sheets course is a good way to gain certain basic knowlege. It will help you learn how to get started and buy property.
But if you never follow up on it, and leave it in the closet gathering dust, then it won’t work.
Question about the Carlton Sheets Program - Posted by Hans Hartung

I have been watching the commercials for ever, and have at one time actually purchased the program, until a neighbor borrowed the material and never returned it. So I never got the chance to try it for myself. That’s beside the point. I guess what I’m trying to ask, is does the system actually work in all 50 states, or are there restrictions in some, and what type of restrictions are there? When Carlton says no money down, I find this hard to believe, but the person on TV shows a check for $47,918.06 and says it was no money down, is this for real? As a real estate investor, and I purchase a home, how do I get sell it as shown on TV? I’d like to know. I’d like to do something else other than what I’m doing at present.
The first property I ever bought was no money down. I had a partner who put up the down payment. He got it by getting a loan from a bank. In other words neither of us had a cent of his own money in the deal.
This was in 1973 before I ever read a book on real estate, in fact before the first nothing down book was written.
So yes it is possible to buy with no money down. I have done it myself more than once. I now know about 20 different ways.
