I own a a weird 12ft wide parcel that landlocks the neighboring parcel from access to his driveway from the street. This has never been an issue with me and the previous owner, who inherited the home, until they decided to sell. Prospective new buyer must have ingress/egress. I am fine with giving them ingress/egress over a 50ft section that generously covers the access, but no more.

The real estate guy, who prefers I simply deed 100 feet over to the new buyer, says he can’t divide it up that way for ingress and egress. I can’t see why. They haven’t offered me a cent, either, for my time and headaches over this.
Help! The agent tried to get me to sign something this evening and I wouldn’t. Am I getting buffaloed?

And what is the usual compensation for granting this, money wise, In California?
