No, there is no way to do that in the way you mean. The first question I would have is the property free and clear? If there is a mortgage, maybe you can buy that and pay the taxes and foreclose. Is this land, or is this a dwelling and is it vacant or is someone living there?

What i would like to know is if you can’t get in touch with the owner of a property and they are not paying taxes, and they are now 2 years in the rears, is there a way you can pay the taxes and file something to take ownership of the property without having to wait until it is auctioned off by the county? By the way i am in the state of michigan.
