I would recommend you start with the “How-to Articles” here. Read through them and see if you get a feel for a type of investing approach that interests you. From there you can research how investors on the main news group are using those techniques and which courses and speakers they prefer. You can often exhange posts and emails with the authors of the books and courses for sale at this site (straight from the horses mouth so to speak).

Heck for the price of a plane ticket, you can get a great start (and might be all you need).
