What is the relationship between Gals vs LBS. When you fill a propane
tank…you are charge by the gal. When you read about propane appliance
ratings…is by the pound. I called a local propane dealer…he never has
heard of propane by the lb.
Thanks
Chuck

Barbaque tanks are rated in LBS. as in 20 Lb cilender. When you go to get these filled it is usualy done on a scale.Gal filling is good for emty tanks or ones with a gage , but on a pastualy full tank without gage you never know how much is in the tank Jim

I guess this is my question. How many lbs are in a gal of propane and
visaversa?
