The property is under the control of the Receiver, or Trustee. The person you are speaking to, if a RE salesperson, is not in charge of the Receivership. They may be deemed by the Trustee to be marketing the property for the Trustee, who essentially is the Seller.
An agent has a house in preforeclosure and says that it is in receivorship.
I submitted a contract and the agent said that it would have to be a lot more. I asked if they submitted the contract and they said they were in charge of the receivorship. I told them I was wanting to do a short sale.
What does “receivorship” mean???
thanks
