To locate prefoclosures, call the office of the clerk at your county’s courthous and ask him/her which newspapers in the county publish trustee’s(or whatever it is called in your county)sale ads. Most of these news papers can be found in the local library. Don’t bother subscribing to them.

Does anyone have any tips on locating pre-forclosures? This is an avenue i want to persue since i’m just starting out in REI. Any info would be appreciated!

Try your local court house, Circuit court clerks office, and or Sheriffs Office.
Also watch the newspaper for Legal postings.
