It’s nice being interviewed and then have the show archived for later listening. Any PR you get in your invesmtnet business is very fleeting.
When I moved to my area 7 years ago two local papers interviewed me (as a new marketing consultant in town) and published both articles the same week. Results… I got one call… from the city… wanting to know if I had a business license!
However, both articles have gotten years of mileage by me making copies and adding to the credibility pak I give buyers and sellers.
Something to keep in mind if you ever get press… distribute copies yourself to potential prospects.
BTW – want free press? Local papers are always hard up for news about local stuff.

Who has the best and easiest way to send postcards out. I am not a computer genious so will need something fairly simple. I would like some easy software.
have you tried usps.com? You can upload your postcard design and list of addresses. They will print and send the cards for basically the cost of a a post card itself. It is a great service.
dataquick.com for leads concerning specific types of mortgages (they are offering free setup right now)
and melissadata.com (for blanketing a specific zipcode. They also allow you to remove the apartment buildings so you are not mailing to renters)

I love the USPS website (netpost mailing online). The only thing I don’t like is the lack of neon colors for their cards. You can’t beat the price or the convenience though.
