PLEASE HELP......MARKETING ADVICE - Posted by SUCCESS DRIVEN

Some quick tips:

You can get rid of the line about how you are inspired, and the line that says you are investors, and use them to say something more useful. No one cares about your title, or what inspires you. They only care about one thing:

“What can you do for me?”

Every line on your card, and every other piece of marketing you do, should be answering that question.

Remember, “AIDA” (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Those are the 4 elements of a successful advertisement. All 4 should be in every ad you do, (and the business card is an ad, of course).

Talk less about yourself, and more about the client. And remember, don’t sell features, sell benefits. “Real Estate Investor” is a feature, “We can solve your house buying or selling problems”, is a benefit.

Like I said, just a few quick types. Not trying to be harsh, just straight-up. HTH.

I could not agree with Eric more.

The only reason why a seller will call you is when they see a benefit you can offer:

quick closing
no contingencies
cash
fair offer

Business cards are great and a cheap way of getting the word out.

Try and get a school kid to distribute a 1000 per week at the mall. This can get you a deal and some leads that you can add to your database.

This is a shotgun approach but cost effective.

Considered targeting attorneys ? More focused and no competition.

Hope this helps
