You need to post this over on cashflow board.

The benefit is the seller gets needed cash now but still retains a long term income stream.
The buyer makes short term return.

I have a note I am interested in selling and here about a partial purchase. I know that it is when you sell only a portion of your note;however, I don’t understand how it is beneficial for either the buyer or seller. Can some explain in more detail please.
