EzVoice is a 10 box voicemail program for the PC. I just started using it when my CallAudit Voice software turned out to be malfunctioning in the worst possible way!
This is only 1 line, however, there is no message length limit that I’ve found (I have a message about my lease-purchase program that rumbles one for quite a while.)
Last but not least, it’s freeware! Just search ‘EzVoice’ on Google for the download site.
I was curious if anyone has this phone system and how they like it?
It’s Panasonic’s 4 line multi handset cordless phone. 2.4 GHz
It has up 8 individual mailboxes with different message greetings and you can add up to 8 cordless handsets.

Here is the link to panasonic’s site that shows this phone.
I was curious about the mailboxes too, if you had to have all the extra handsets to activate the mailboxes.
Thanks Steve for the input! I guess I will just hold out a little longer till someone/company comes out with something better.
Right now, the best I’ve come up with is the HotFax Message Center 5.0 (software/voice modem based)with unlimited mailboxes. I have phone company voice mail as a back up at 4.95 a month, just in case the power is out, or have several calls at once, or whatever.
I tried the “Communicate Pro” (just to complicated and cumbersome for callers)and a couple of others, but I keep coming back to this.
Other than that, about the only thing I’ve seen is the AT&T with 4 mailboxes. They have one with just an anwswering machine and one with an intergrated phone. Casio has one also. WilliamGA can tell us how that one is working.
If someone has something better please let us know!

I bought that system with the objective of having multiple mailboxes. After opening and reading the instructions it became clear that the only way to get multiple mailboxes is to buy a handset for each mailbox. I called Panasonic and they confirmed this. I don’t want the extra handsets, only the mailboxes. Therefore, I returned the system and determined that the most flexible system was computer based. There are several softwares that allow an unlimited number of mailboxes that can be structured in multiple ways with adequate time for greetings, directions to properties, etc.
JB,
Is there a time limit on the outgoing messages for the main mailbox and 8 submailboxes? Is it a certain number of minutes divided amongst all of them or does each greeting have its own cap? Thanks…
I don’t know, good question. I don’t have this phone yet. I was able to get one brand new off e-bay for $400.
I e-mailed panasonic and asked them. I’ll let you know what they say when the respond.
I do have one of their 2.4 GHz cordless phones, but it doesn’t have the features this one has. The phone itself is a great phone and when I seen this one with all the stuff it offers and having the multiple lines on it, I decided this looks like a phone for me!
JB,
That one issue has been the problem with all the systems I researched. I may want to ramble on and on on box 4 about our Rent-to-Own program or the lovely house on Main Street with the 7 zone sprinkler system, yada, yada, yada. I have yet to find a reasonably priced phone system with at least 4 boxes that has that kind of flexibility. Please let me know what you find out. Thanks.
