My agent Made an open end contract with the seller. We were not aware of this untill around June 16th. The finance guy said the contract expired and he would need an ademden? Husband Sig. We call our agent who has now moved too Texas in the mist of all this and said no you can’t get out of it because it is an open ended contract. We have a good faith promise and seller agent called and said they would not release the money also said they are going to keep it due to the seller putting out money for inspections. It is now going on 45 days July 2nd and we haven’t heard from anyone
I called my agent and his phone is disconnected. I called his team leader, still waiting on a return call. What can we do???

Not sure what state you’re in, but EVERY Agent contract I saw had a CLOSING DATE on it. Are you telling me that yours DOESN’T? What does your copy say.
Forget the “team leader”, call the; BROKER, Local Realtor’s Board, State Realtor’s Board. Call in that order, call all the same day. Have your contract in front of you, and think and WRITE out, what you want done, closing? release of escrow? Other?
Let us know how it goes.
