#1 Don’t listen to anyone that hasn’t been a landlord.
#2 Don’t listen to most people who have!
#3 DO listen to the people on this site.

To paraphrase a previous post (tongue twister?) ‘Inadequate screening = Tenant problems.’

Nevertheless, if you are living in a good area for MH, go for that! Big bucks possible!

I’ve been looking at being an investor for some time, but I have gotten confused over which is better: owning rental property, flipping, or the mobile home deals. I have the Sheets program, but everyone is telling me that being a landlord is nothing but a big giant pain in the rear end. I am considering sending it back.

Most people I have talked to that have or have owned property say this. They say that if you are going to rent, commercial property is the only way to go. I think that would be over my head at this time. Would the flipping and/or mobile home deals be better for me?

Thanks in advance for anyone’s insight…
