Hi everyone,

I am looking to send a notice to vacate to tenant as I will be selling the property soon. If I send a letter in the mail tomorrow, can the 30 day notice (in Ohio) reference that tenant leave in middle of October or does it have to indicate that they have to leave at end of October as I must give a full rental period (tenant is month to month)? Thanks

It will be better if you send the notice through attorney. Notice sent by you individually has of hardly any value.
