Your attorney probably has a NC form he likes already in his PC so it’s a very simple matter for him to pull it up, add your name and current data and print it out.

Not much of a job and shouldn’t be much of a fee.

Being a novice I am welcoming information from many sources. The property management company that wants my business has offered to look at and advise me on properties I am considering buying. Some of the properties are private sales and I want to keep them that way. This property manager is also a realtor. I’m planning to have my re attorney give me a noncompete agreement to have the property manager sign before I ask him to look at the properties. Am I being naive? Has anyone been in this situation before? And…are there sources where I can find a free noncompete agreement that my attorney can just touch up if necessary and save some fees? Thanks for any input.
