I suggest reading Lonnie’s books, especially if you are already drawn to them. It will get you thinking like a real estate entrepreneur. Or thinking that he is whacked, in which case you’ve only spent, like, $70 to find out you don’t want to do mobile home deals.
But seriously, they were the first things I ever read about creative real estate investing and it changed the way I thought buying and selling forever. Kind of like what “Rich Dad Poor Dad” did for everyone else. I don’t do mobile home deals, but they were the books that got me started looking for deals and running ads and making offers. They are an economical way to learn about the makings of a deal and about real estate paper.

I just found this site 3 days ago and have spent the better part of three days reading everything on here that I could. I am certain that people ask this question quite often, but which real estate course should I buy. I understand the nuts and bolts of real estate but need help with understanding contracts and creative financing. Lonnie Scruggs appeals to me because I live in a rural area of Georgia where there are many mobile homes. Just looking for some advice. Please help, I am anxious to get started, my family is counting on me.
Read all the descriptions and details of the books and courses available here on this site. Determine what area interests you the most and buy a course with that in mind. Regardless of what others might suggest, if there is something that interests ‘you’, then go that direction. As you say Lonnie Scruggs appeals to you, then review his material descriptions and see if his books/courses are a direction you would like to study.

The books and seminars you may need to buy are all dependant on your goals in the Real Estate business. I am currntly reading Robert Shemin’s 'Secret’s of a Millinoare…" and it is very informative for a Newbie. He thorugouly explains all the techniques you have as an Investor, and maybe you’ll see which direction you want to take. Good Luck!
