It depends upon what investment niche interests you. When comparing Legrand’s approach and Lonnie’s Deals On Wheels approach, you are comparing apples to oranges.
They are two entirely different investment vehicles. One is dealing with homes, the other is dealing with mobile homes.
Try reading some more of the “How to Articles” here and perhaps they will help you narrow it down a bit.

Hello all, I just discovered this site yesterday and I must say it is terrific!! I was originally going to purchase the Ron Legrand wholesale/retail system (and I will) but then I saw a lot of people using “Deals on Wheels,” so I thought maybe I should start with that to get my feet wet. Can anyone offer some general advice? I’ve been intimidated long enough. I’m going to educate myself and take action, so any general words of wisdom would be most welcome. Thanks
