Charles, you will need an “Installment Seller” License from the Department of Banking ($250) to put a lien on the title. Start there. The penalty for not having one is STIFF!

Just starting out in Pittsburgh, PA. Want to find my first “motivated seller” this week. Wanting to know if there are any special license’s needed or other legal considerations that I should be aware of.
