Just speculating here but I believe that if your lease is with the woman then you don’t have any business relation with the husband. If you allow her to sublease the unit or any portion thereof, then it’d be her responsibility to draft her own lease agreement with the terms she’s comfortable with.
I would be more worried about myself in this case as the LL. Be sure that you’ve got any adult person who will be staying in the property to sign the lease or else you may have trouble evicting when/if the time comes in terms of properly identifying the tenant(s) to be evicted.
Am I on th right track on this anyone else ?

How do I word a lease addendum for my tenant to have her husband (they were temporarily separated) move back in, but leave an “out clause” for her to kick him out if she wants, so she can maintain living here? She is the primary lease holder and he has never lived here.
