is called ‘builder’s risk insurance’. Try calling some of the small insurance brokers… alos call some of the ‘i buy houses’ ads in your local paper and ask those investors who they use for builders risk

Hello, all
If anyone knows of an insurance company or agent to write homeowners (or some other type??) insurance on a rehab project I’m doing.
I bought a house for cash, it was built in 1926.
I’ve called many agents and no one wants to insure it while it’s being rehabbed.
It is in Florida, St. Petersburg.
Any info appreciated. Thank you.
