Yes, send him a 30 day notice to vacate before the end of this month with lease expireing 2/28/03. if he is their on 3/1/03 file for eviction.

Hello folks,

Here is my situation. I have a psycho tenant. He complains about nothing getting done, but won’t contractors into his house to fix it. Complains about everything and is just an all around jerk. Just yells at me whenever I talk to him. I have figured out how to deal with him and nwo have it under control.

This is my question. His lease is up at the end of feb. Can I send him a notice telling him it is over and I will not be renewing the lease . If I do this do I have to follow the regualr eviction process if he decides not to leave.

Just need a little bit of guidance. My lawyer is away for the month.

Ken has a good idea. Figure out what it would be worth to you to put up with this screwball’s nonsense and add it to the current rent.

Raise the rent a lot. If he stays, it might be worth it. If not, you got him out with little fanfare.
