I’m not the Bill you asked but I do these from time to time and can tell you that:

  1. Process is that everyone who has/had an interest in the property in the last XX (your state statutes) years MUST be notified…title search and notification has to be accurate and complete.

  2. Average time span…depends on the urgency you put on it…you get what you pay for. Fast…costs time and money. Not rocket science, normally not a priority item…other cases can/do take precedence.

  3. Cost…see 2. Normaly from $1,500 to 3,000 depending on the urgency you set when you retain the attorney to do the work…if you want his time and energy…you must pay for it.

Good Luck,
Bill H

  1. worst case that I personnally was involved in was 14 years and $50,000 in legal fees.

  2. best case 4months and $800.

mosts cases will be 6-9 months and $1,000 to $3,000
