My Palm IIIvx (2 years old, but still works fine for me) did not come with a financial calc, only a standard one. I’m not sure if the newer models come with a financial calc or not.

Mortgage calculator for Palm??? - Posted by Stu-Canada

Does anyone know where I might be able find and download a mortgage calculator program for my palm pilot?
The fewer things I have to carry with me the more hands I have for writing offers.
Thanks in advance…

I use “Abacus”. It is a shareware download that I got from ZDnet.com. Please note that it is comparable to an HP-12C calculator. So be sure that you know how to use an RPN calculator.

Stu,
I understand not wanting to carry more then you need to, I’m the same way.
That being said, doesn’t your palm come with a financial calculator? I’ve got a Handspring and it came with one. I have however played with it while going through “Calculator Power” and it doesn’t seem to come up with the same numbers, or able to do what my TI BA-35 does.
Gonna have to check some the other sites mentioned here.
Good luck and happy investing.

Hi Stu-Canada,
Do you just want a mortgage calculator or a financial calculator (which I’m assuming could do mortgage calculations in addtion to the general financial calculations required in real estate)?
Here is a link to a Handango search for Palm “financial calculator” (the list includes Loan Pro, as mentioned by Stevo): http://www.handango.com/PlatformSearch.jsp?siteId=1&jid=6DFDX7X9C8XXB6X311D44X3C1A2F7X9A&optionId=1_1_2&txtSearch=finance+calculator&platformId=1
And, here is a link to a PalmGear.com search for Palm “financial calculator”: Gadget and Gear Reviews - PalmGear 2023.
Good luck!

Stu, I downloaded LoanPro (Infinity Softworks) www.infinitysw.com , for about $29 several years ago and find it to be a good tool still today.

Brian,
Only Handspring gives you the “PowerOne” calculator - Palm just gives you a “basic” calculator.
