Hello:
Is anyone know about MH Dealer License? I am in Southern California, and I don’t know who to talk to regarding MH Dealer License. I don’t know whether it is required to have a license or not AND if it is than who I can inquire with to get related information? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

A CALIFORNIA REAL ESTATE LICENSE covers most types of sales. Mobile Homes are also covered by the DMV, but you are allowed to buy and sell a significant quantity before you become a dealer.
You can inquire of both agencies. You may not wish to become a dealer. Private parties don’t have as much liability sometimes as licencees.
