To Martin: Thanks for replying to my post. I don’t know anything about this except for an article in Fort Lauderdale newspaper talking about new laws enacted by legislature. It commented about new laws that would help renters counteract excessive rent raises, but didn’t go into detail. I would like to know the exact nature of these laws also and when they would go in effect. I would like to hear from anyone familiar with this.

I noticed in Florida newspaper that Florida legislature passed a law that gives tennants rights concerning lot rent raises that may be excessive. There was no discussion of details in this article. Does anyone know the nature of this?
