Scott, was wondering how you bought that home for so cheap? Repo? I’m in MA and having trouble finding deals. Alot of folks go through realtors here and I’ve seen homes from the 60’s and 70’s advertised for 30, 40 even 50 thousand. I read about you you guys buying homes from the 90’s for 5,000 and I think these realtors must be crazy to advertise a 1971 2 bedroom 1 ba for 36,000.I know these are retail prices but can’t you buy a brand new home for less than 30k?
Any similiar experiences out there?

Plain speak. the price of this house is to high. I bought a 16X80 1993in perfect condition last fall for $5,000 and sold it for cash 2 months later for 13,700. I would suggest you look around before paying TOP $ for this home. Being able to sell this home in a year or two and get your payoff would be next to impossible. Also, most park do allow contract sales. Most do not allow rentals.
