A little typo like this with a past date is of no consequence. Happens all the time and it’s too easily proven what was actually intended.

While the listing agreement is likely still valid and the RE Agent and her broker do have some contract rights, they might be very willing to work with their client in moving her house.

If I were you I’d go sit down with them and see what kind of deal you could make with them to benefit you, them and their client.

Assisting a NJ woman in foreclosure who’s house has been listed for 3 of a 6 months contract. Sheriffs sale is approaching and the listing began 10/07 and is to end 4/08. The broker mistakingly put the contract expiration for 4/07. Is this contract still valid? Because this house will be a REO before 4/08.
