I received a call from a person who desperately wants out of a house that is boarded up by the county.

His girlfriend is on title of the house and she’s a missing person. She’s been missing for 14 months. Neither her family or friends know how to find her. How can I work around this?

If someone is presumed deceased (like Jimmy Hoffa), their estate can be probated even if no body is found. I don’t know if that is the case here.

Possibly you could put some sort of lien on the property for trimming the trees or painting or something and then foreclose for non-payment.

If there are other liens like a mortgage you could buy that and foreclose.
